Slick Offroad Wash

Are you tired of spending hours cleaning up your mud covered ATV or UTV? Sure, we all are! it’s a ton of fun getting them dirty but the cleaning sucks! Well the good people from Slick Offroad Wash have stepped up to help give us back some of the hours we normally spend to bring our mud covered toys back to clean and pristine.
I admit I was skeptical to say the least when I spoke to Jimmy Wilkinson of Slick Offroad Wash at the 2012 Indy Dealer Expo. I, like many others, simply used the old and trusted dish soap or on occasion car wash soap to clean off the caked on mud left over from our last ride or race. I literally spent hours cleaning every nook and cranny of our machines to get them back to looking good again only to repeat the same process the next weekend. But after listening to Jimmy explain the benefits of his product over conventional cleaners we agreed to give it a try. WOW! Am I glad we did. Slick Offroad Wash is an amazing, time saving product that cut our clean up time literally in half.
We used our Can-Am Commander for the test unit and decided to let the mud covered beast set for about three weeks after one of our testing runs still covered in mud and clay. Now normally we would get them cleaned up the next day after we returned to the shop but we wanted to see if the Slick Offroad Wash really performed as well as promised. Man did it! We followed the easy directions mixing one wash packet to a gallon of water in their handy sprayer, pumped it up and sprayed the Commander down from top to bottom and with the aid of their extended spray nozzle we were able to get in to all of the hard to reach spots that normally required crawling under the machine to do or, worse yet, the removal of skid plates to gain access to. Then we let it soak for 5 minutes based on the directions and then rinsed it off with a normal garden hose. To our amazement the baked on mud and clay rinsed right off even in those normally tough to clean out nooks and crannies that usually require digging the clay out by hand. We were left with very minimal amount of detailing once the commander dried and best of all we had cut our clean up time in half if not more! Another benefit of the Slick Offroad Wash is the shine it leaves on the machines once clean up is complete. Our Commander and Ranger looked as though we had just waxed them after drying and water beaded right up and rolled off leading us to believe that with the repeated use of the product, clean-up time will be reduced even more next time.

After the 3 -5 minute soak simply rinse the dirt and mud away! Slick Offroad Wash is an amazing product!
So, here’s what was promised from Slick Offroad Wash:
-Solution works its way to the core breaking down the adhesion of dirt molecules for fast clean up – check!
-Will help maintain the life and look of your vehicle – uh, ours looked like we waxed them so double check on this one!
-Another plus is that it is biodegradable/green friendly – pretty cool for the power of this product!
For those of us who enjoy playing in the mud, Slick Offroad Wash can be a huge time savings when it’s time to clean up our mud monsters after a hard weekend of playing. For those who just strictly enjoy the looks of a pristine machine, then it’s a winner there too. All the shine of a fresh wax job without all the elbow grease! One thing is for sure, when we return from our next adventure we will be using Slick Offroad Wash to clean up our machines. The time we will save can be put to better use planning our next adventure. Hey, I wonder if it works on kids? : )
