Product Testing for ATV, UTV and Off-road Products.

We are often asked how do vendors get product testing done by ATV-UTVTECH.COM so in an effort to assist in this process we have a few guidelines for potential testing.

1.)  You must be a legitimately licensed business.

2.)  Your product must pertain to ATVs, UTVs, Off-road, general outdoors activities such as camping, hunting and so on, and last but not least camera equipment such as POV cams, Helmet cams and so on that are commonly used by outdoors enthusiasts.

3.)  You must be prepared to receive constructive feedback. We are 100% honest with our reviews and will not simply give you a positive review if one is not deserved.

4.)  First contact will be submitted by the vendor in email form detailing the following:

A-    Type of Product

B-    Price Range of Product

C-    Business Name

D-   Contact information-Including Phone Number

E-    Web Site of Business if Applicable

5.)  Specifics of product testing packages will be discussed in detail after initial contact email is received. But generally include the following:

Installation Instructions:  Ease of reading and follow through. Contains a list of required tools.  100% accurate to installing the product on the machine listed.

Fit and Finish:  Fits as designed without interfering with the function of the machine. Causes no clearance issues with other components on the machine.  The finish is durable and will wear well in the real world.

Difficulty of Installation:  Manufacturer has accounted for potential difficulties and provided extended instructions or tools.

Performance:  Performs as advertised and/or as designed.

Durability:  In short, it holds up.  It performs as well in a month of hard riding as it did on day one.

Maintenance:  Requires no or as listed tuning and tweaking.

Tires will be tested and rated on all surfaces including hard pack, soft sand, mud, rock and snow when possible in varied trail situations.

Results of product testing are published on ATV-UTVTECH.COM, MUDRACINGPARTS.COM (when applicable), our Blogger Blog, Facebook and twitter pages related to the above mentioned sites, as well as, our YouTube channel (where applicable). All reviews are submitted to Mudder’s Magazine.

Product testing packages vary depending upon customer needs, depth of the project and overall terms of testing. 

We also do product consultation for vendors who have new product ideas and would like to tap into our nearly three decades of off-road experience to assist them in final development and feedback prior to final production. This service is priced on a case by case basis.
